It brought a memory to mind, the question “Why was I born cleft?” if I was made perfect?! All I could feel right after that is a sense of healing of an old wound, all the memories of being made fun of for my imperfection, the name calling, the stares and what not! I spent many years of my life conscious about my imperfection. All it ever brought was low self-esteem and confidence. I believe God has been there for me throughout my life to fill me with the love and confidence that I need to feel whole. 

Anyway back to my church experience; the next thing that came to my mind – a voice from God. “You are perfectly made!” That opened the flood gates alright there and then! I definitely have a scar that needs to be healed in my heart. The little girl in me is hurt from all the “persecution” of mankind from young. God heals with his love.

This fallen world is still very cruel to many who are born imperfect. I believe God gave each of us who are imperfect from birth a purpose in life from the day He created us. Look at Nick Vujicic! A perfect example of God’s grace on his imperfection. We are here to teach mankind about compassion, love and humility.

John 9:1-3
As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.” 

Today I stand tall in my imperfection! All I need to know is I am perfect in God’s eyes and I am purposeful in this life! And that’s a revelation!

I pray for all you who are physically imperfect that God will give you the revelation and His vision for you to live a purposeful life here on earth and that He will give you the strength to face whatever storm that may come your way from the fallen world and I pray that He will use you to touch the lives of many! I pray that He fills you with his love and build you up to be the confident child of God to do his good works! I pray for his healing to reign upon you and make you whole! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I’ve seen such phenomenon in videos but not experiencing personally. I’ve been wondering what it is like and now I know. I am still learning to embrace it when it hits. It’s hard to just embrace when you’re actually going to fall. But the experience is beautiful and strange at the same time. I don’t know how to describe it in words to be honest.

This week too I’ve been given more confirmation on my calling from God! And the confirmations came in various forms – through God’s word, prayer, praise songs and people. Thank you Jesus for the revelation! And I thank God for the joy and peace He has put in my heart.

1 Corinthians 6:17
But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him

God can really renew your heart and cause you to be more like him if you allow him to do so.
